Get to know the Czech retail environment

A papírnictví should take care of pretty much all your stationery and office-supply needs in Prague.

In the more traditional Czech stationery shops, most everything is behind the counter.

Bring your dictionary (slovník) and don't be afraid to take your time asking for what you need.

Most Czech shopkeepers will be patient with you if they see you are trying.

Pointing also helps.
