Legendy 2015 - Cars, Bikes and a lot of fun...

Legendy will run today from 10 – 20:00 and tomorrow from 10 – 18:00

It took four years for organizer Lubor Kos to prepare last year’s first Legendy motoring festival, but his patience paid off. The 2014 auto showcase was such a success that Kos decided to make it an annual tradition. With nearly 800 cars and over 350 motorcycles on display throughout the grounds of the psychiatric hospital PN Bohnice in Prague 8 today and Sunday, the second-annual Legendy festival promises to be even more exciting than its predecessor.

“It’s a good way for people, for families to enjoy motor sport,” says Juho Hanninen, one of several celebrity drivers, including John Haugland and Petr Fulin, who will be on hand to participate in exhibition rides, as well as chat and take photos with attendees. At Legendy, “you can get closer” to the sport.

Hanninen will be driving a Skoda at Legendy this year, but the festival with its 1,000+ exhibits offers something for people of all tastes. Whether it’s racecars that excite you, or “old-timers” that interest you (be sure to check out the pre-war three-wheeler from 1897!), you may find the event’s 18 hours are simply not enough to see it all.

“I would like [for them to] enjoy the whole event,” says Kos of the 40,000 people who are expected to attend Legendy this year. As for what he is most looking forward to, “I cannot say that I have one car I love!”

Legendy will run today from 10 – 20:00 and tomorrow from 10 – 18:00.
