Pepsi Cup Cricket Tournament Prague 2015

Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th September @ Czech Cricket's main field close to Zámek Ctěnice

Enjoying an afternoon at the cricket is one of the great traditional English summer pastimes, and Czech Cricket has developed strongly in recent years to bring that experience to Prague. This weekend, Czech Cricket will host the second annual Pepsi Cup, a six-team T20 tournament from Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th September featuring a selection of local talent against teams from Afghanistan, Italy, Sweden and Switzerland.

The tournament will take place at Czech Cricket's main field close to Zámek Ctěnice, located just outside north-east Prague, about a 20-minute drive from the centre. Entry will be free, and our classic red London double-decker bus will be available throughout the day to transport people to and from Letňany metro station at no cost.

At the ground, you will find a large hospitality tent fully-stocked with food and drink so that you can relax in comfort while enjoying the quality sporting action. The catering facilities, provided in conjunction with Boscolo Hotel and Eventrend, are fantastic, with unlimited "all-you-can-eat" packages available as well as individual items at standard Czech prices.

At most points during the tournament there will be two games happening side-by-side, ensuring that there will always be something to captivate the spectators.

Saturday will be Family Day, with plenty of activities on to encourage spectators to bring children with them as an introduction to the great sport. The tournament semi-finals are scheduled for Sunday morning, with the final planned for Sunday afternoon starting at 14:30.

The Czech President's XI team are looking to retain the trophy won in last year's inaugural edition of the competition, but they will face stronger opposition this year including the Swedish domestic champions and a strong team from one of cricket's most rapidly-developing countries, Afghanistan.

So come and join us for a thrilling weekend of high-class sporting action, with no entry cost and quality catering on offer!
