Česká spořitelna defended its leading position as the most-trusted bank, which was voted by consumers and tabulated by the STEM/MARK agency.

J & T Banka won the Private Bank of the Year category.
Banker of the Year went to Tomáš Spurný, managing director of MONETA Money Bank. The insurer of the Year went to Martin Žáček, managing director of UNIQA pojišťovna, for the third time in a row.
"Thanks to our new partner, KPMG, we could also include information on assessing the customer experience at individual banks and insurance companies. With the gradual balancing of the technical parameters of the individual products and services, we can consider the customer experience as one of the key parameters according to which the individual banks and insurance companies in the Czech market are evaluated in practical life,” Petr Stuchlík, chairman of the organizing committee, said in a press release.
Zdeněk Tůma, a member of the organizing committee from KPMG, said the awards were more than just symbolic. “Clients of banks and insurance companies are increasingly able to compare products and services in detail. So this is far from being only about prizes. Clients seek the maximum added value for their money. We also want to show banks and insurers how important it is to meet customer expectations today and not disappoint them in any way,” Tůma said.
The number of categories this year was reduced to eight from 15 that were in previous years. The Bank of the Year Awards
