Holešovice project gets zoning decision
A new luxury neighborhood is planned near Nádraží Holešovice
A former industrial area at Nádraží Holešovice is one step closer to being developed. The companies Geone Real Estate and Skanska Property have obtained a zoning decision for the site of the former concrete panel factory Prefa.
The two real estate firms by 2022 want to build a project worth Kč 1.5 billion. A building permit has been applied for
“A new history is being written for the Holešovice complex: concrete and panels will be replaced by offices, luxury studios and leisure premises on the banks of the Vltava River,”
The entire project is called Rivery Holešovice. Skanska on is website refers the neighborhood it is developing as Port7
“Visionary will be the first and the most modern office project located in the immediate vicinity of the Nádraží Holešovice subway station,” Skanska states. The building will have a running track on the roof. The developer plans for the building to get the highest level of environmental certification, LEED Platinum.
The
“Holešovice is one of the fastest growing city districts in Prague and it is becoming an increasingly sought after place not only among developers. Skanska will exploit the benefits of this site to the fullest. In addition to Visionary, it will develop the neighborhood of Port7, where innovative elements with a positive impact on the health and well-being of the population will be a matter of course,” Skanska director Alexandra Tomaskova said in a press release.
